• Collaborated with the data science team and implemented a fitness function to improve virtual machine attainability by considering available capacity.

• The above project contributed to a $100M reduction in annual costs and received a Tech Impact Award.

• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a plan that achieved a 60% reduction in Persistent Disk stockouts.

• Increased resource utilization by picking platforms that reduced stranding. { Improved disk i/o latency by ensuring optimal placement of the disk and the attached VMs

• On-boarded services to new deployment framework to ease the CI/CD, turn up and monitoring. { Led the creation of a GCP project topology to optimize network communication and resource allocation across interconnected projects.

• Mentored and onboarded several team members to the team.

Feb 2018– July 2019 Nutanix Inc, MTS III, San Jose, California

• Worked on a microservice based edge computing platform, supported by Kubernetes and written in Go. { Built software for managing rollout life cycle for low bandwidth edge devices.

• Implemented REST APIs for creating and managing digital sensor twins and data processing pipelines. 

• Standardized our control plane deployment by creating Helm charts to easily deploy Kubernetes manifests.

• Migrated the Control Plane from Google Cloud to AWS

May–Aug 2017 Nutanix Inc, MTS Intern, San Jose, California 

• Created the POC for using edge computing to interact with different sensors and ran several machine learning models for image processing and object detection on the generated data.

• Evaluated several severless frameworks for creating data processing pipelines.

InstaTranslate

• Developed a service that allows users to translate videos into different languages. 

• Worked on processing video to overlap it with the translated audio and storing it in Azure Blob Storage. 

• Won the Best Microsoft Hack at HackPrinceton for the best use of Microsoft cloud services.
